What do you wish you could do more every day?
If someone asks me,
what do I wish I could do more every day…
The answer is simple.
I wish I could go for a walk.
But not just a walk.
An Eco walk.
Because I used to go for it… every single day.
I used to go inside
Trivandrum International Airport
A lot of people come there for walking.
And you might wonder—
What is so special about walking inside an airport road?
But it is special.
There are tall trees on both sides of the road.
Green lawns.
Small garden spaces in between.
Even a bridge, if you want to walk on an elevated stretch.
And evenings there…
They are something else.
The sunset looks so beautiful.
The breeze feels soft and calming.
Birds slowly return to the trees…
Like the day is gently coming to an end.
It always felt like a peaceful closing.
I used to go there every day.
And once a week, I would go for a beach walk too.
That was my routine.
That was my space.
Then life changed.
My routine changed.
I became busy with my baby.
Daily became alternate days.
Alternate days became once a week.
And now…
I don’t have time for it.
And I really miss it.
Because it was not just a walk.
It was my me time.
Even after my delivery,
that’s how I slowly got back to myself.
Back to movement.
Back to rhythm.
Sometimes it was just 20–30 minutes,
especially when I had my baby with me.
But sometimes…
If my baby was sleeping at home,
I would go for even two hours.
Just walking.
I would carry my phone and headset…
But I wouldn’t play anything.
No music.
No calls.
No screen.
Just walking.
And I didn’t do it as a rule.
It just happened.
Because somewhere, I needed that
headphone-free, screen-free space.
I did try going to other nearby places also.
But I couldn’t feel the same.
And I don’t want to do something just because I have to.
I want to do it because I enjoy it.
That’s when I realised—
Some places are not just locations.
They are feelings.
And for me, that place is enough.
Even now, I try to move at home…
Walk on the treadmill, just to keep my body active.
Not for fitness goals.
Not for transformation.
Just to keep my body moving.
But still…
It doesn’t feel the same.
Because that walk…
That eco walk…
Was never just physical.
It was something else.
Something quiet.
Something grounding.
For me…
It was a kind of meditation.
So yes…
If I could bring back one thing into my everyday life—
It would be this.
A simple Eco walk.
Because sometimes…
Just walking is enough to find yourself again.
