How do you unwind after a demanding day?
So the next question is: How do you unwind yourself after a demanding day?
Sometimes, I just go to social media. It’s a kind of escape for me.
Otherwise, I take a cold shower or a warm shower—depending on my mood, the weather, and the time. That itself helps me reset.
Maybe a tea.
I’m actually trying to come out of my coffee habit. Coffee used to feel like a small reward, like something I gift myself. But I realized I was having a bit too much sometimes, so now I’m slowly shifting to tea.
If I feel like I really need a reset, these days I splash ice-cold water on my face. It actually helps a lot. It brings me back to myself.
Whenever I get irritated, I’ve understood one thing—it’s usually because I’m too tired. I’ve done too much. So I try to drink more water, hydrate myself, and just lie down for some time.
But yes… most of the time, the phone will be in my hand.
It’s my way of escaping for a while.
And if it’s not just one day—if it’s a very demanding week or month—then I step outside. I go for a walk.
Not for steps.
Not for fitness tracking.
Just… a walk.
Without my phone.
Listening to traffic, watching people, just being there.
Just to breathe.
And yeah… that’s all I do.
