When the Mind Feels Like a Blank White Paper
Sometimes…
my mind feels like a plain white paper.
Not fed up.
Not numb.
Not hopeless.
Just…
blank.
And I have noticed this before too.
It’s not because I feel complete.
Not because I feel satisfied.
Not even because I feel content.
And it’s not restlessness either.
That I am sure of.
I am not anxious.
I am not tensed.
I am not overwhelmed.
But still…
there is this feeling—like a blank white paper.
It’s not like I am waiting to be filled.
Not like I am ready to absorb whatever comes next.
No.
It’s more like—
I am just… there.
Without wanting to hold anything.
Without wanting to react.
Without wanting to attach myself to any emotion or situation.
And the strange part is—
It doesn’t feel bad.
It doesn’t feel heavy.
But at the same time…
it doesn’t feel like peace either.
So I ask myself—
Am I peaceful?
I don’t know.
Am I restless?
No.
I am somewhere in between.
Not empty in a painful way.
Not full in a comforting way.
Just…
A blank white paper.
And maybe…
this is also a state.
Not to be fixed.
Not to be questioned too much.
Just to be noticed.
