What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?
My First Hour of the Morning
If you ask me what my first hour of the morning looks like…
Honestly—
It’s not perfect.
It’s not structured.
It’s not aesthetic.
It’s… real.
I do try not to look at my phone.
But before anything else—
👉 I run to the kitchen.
To get milk for my baby.
Because my day doesn’t start with me.
It starts with her.
The moment she wakes up—
That is my morning.
For the first 10–15 minutes…
She just wants one thing.
👉 To be in my arms.
A long, warm hug.
And honestly…
That hug?
It’s not just for her.
It’s for me.
That is my energy.
That is how my day begins.
She won’t go to anyone else at that moment.
She needs me.
For sleep, she may choose her grandma.
But for mornings—
She chooses me.
And when she opens her eyes
and sees me there…
That happiness on her face—
I wait for that.
Every single day.
🌊 The Flow That Follows
After that…
I give her warm milk.
Then slowly…
I move into my things.
Tea.
Skincare.
Maybe breakfast—
especially because of my energy levels.
And then—
My prayer.
Prayer for me is not a ritual.
It is a conversation.
With the universe.
With something beyond me.
There was a time
when I used to pray first.
Before everything.
But now…
I cannot.
Because I cannot do anything
before taking care of her.
I can’t pray
when my baby is waiting for me.
So now—
My prayer comes after her.
And that feels right.
💛 My Truth
My mornings are not planned.
They are not perfectly timed.
But they are full.
Full of:
warmth connection presence
And slowly…
when she is ready to move into her day—
Only then…
I move into mine.
