How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?
How I Adapted After the COVID-19 Pandemic
If you ask me how I adapted after COVID-19…
Honestly—
I discovered something about myself
that I never knew before.
I realised—
👉 I can be with myself.
Before the pandemic…
My life was always surrounded by people.
During college days, hostel life—
There was always:
a group a crowd friends around
And I thought—
👉 “This is what I love.”
I believed I needed that.
Even when I came home…
I never stayed inside for long.
I would go out:
to parks temples relatives’ homes
Because I felt—
👉 “Staying at home is boring.”
🌊 Then Everything Paused
COVID happened.
And suddenly…
I was in one place.
For a long time.
At first, it felt unfamiliar.
But slowly…
Something changed.
I started spending time:
with my parents with myself
And for the first time…
I understood something very simple—
👉 Home can be a comfort space.
Not just a place to stay.
But a place to feel.
🌱 Falling in Love With My Own Space
I started noticing my room.
Its corners.
Its small details.
I started decorating it.
Arranging things.
Making it feel like… mine.
And slowly—
I started loving it.
I realised—
👉 Your room can hold you.
Not just physically.
But emotionally.
💛 A New Way of Coping
Before all this—
Whenever I felt overwhelmed…
I used to go out.
Beach.
Park.
Movies.
Anywhere outside.
But after the pandemic…
Something shifted.
Now, when I feel like I need space—
👉 I go to my room.
Just lying on my bed…
With my blanket…
Maybe with a cup of coffee…
Or even without anything—
Feels like a reset.
A recharge.
A quiet pause.
🌿 My Realisation
I understood something beautiful—
👉 A house becomes a home
👉 A home becomes a comfort space
👉 And your room becomes your recharge point
And sometimes…
That is all you need.
