How has technology changed your job?
If you ask me—
How has technology changed my job?
I would say…
It didn’t just change my job.
It changed how I live and work completely.
I am an Ayurvedic doctor.
A yoga trainer.
And someone who loves to write.
That’s who I am at the core.
But today…
I am also:
a podcaster a blogger a published author
And honestly…
Technology played a huge role in this transformation.
I am a toddler mom.
Because of my personal situation,
going out regularly for consultations is not always possible.
But technology gave me an option—
online consultation.
The same with yoga.
I don’t always have the space
to arrange physical classes.
But now…
I can teach online yoga sessions.
What once felt like limitations…
slowly became possibilities.
From Writing to Publishing
Writing was always there in me.
But publishing?
That felt difficult.
Earlier, it meant:
approaching publishers waiting for approval going through long processes
But then I discovered self-publishing.
Platforms like Amazon KDP made it possible.
And suddenly…
Something that felt far away
became accessible.
I didn’t have to wait.
I could create and share.
Finding My Voice Through Podcasting
A few years ago, someone told me—
“You have a good voice. You write well. Why not try podcasting?”
At that time…
I didn’t even know where to start.
Recording?
Editing?
Publishing?
I always thought—
You need a team.
You need equipment.
You need a setup.
But technology showed me—
I can do it myself.
And that changed everything.
Learning Became Easier
I always wanted to read more.
But finding time to:
go to bookstores sit and read
was not easy.
Then came:
Audiobooks.
Digital reading.
Summaries.
Now I can:
listen while walking learn while doing daily tasks
It made learning… easier and continuous.
Discovering My Own Way
I also explored:
blogging journaling voice journaling
Some things worked.
Some didn’t feel right.
And that’s okay.
Because technology gave me the space
to try, understand, and choose.
The Biggest Shift
The biggest change?
Self-sufficiency.
I don’t need a big team.
I don’t need to depend on many people.
I can:
create edit publish share
All by myself.
And that gave me something very important—
confidence.
My Real Answer
So if you ask me again—
How has technology changed my job?
It helped me:
continue my profession as a doctor and yoga trainer express myself as a writer and podcaster learn continuously and create independently
Most importantly…
It helped me do what I love—
in a way that fits my life.
And that, for me…
is everything.
