When Wrong Becomes Normal

By

I don’t want to categorize people based on gender, class, or anything like that.

But there is something I’ve been noticing.

Financial looting.

And what shocks me is not just that it exists…
but how normal it has become.

For years, decades, eras—we’ve heard about it. In stories, in history, everywhere. But now, it feels like people have started accepting it as something normal.

Like, “yeah, this happens.”

No.

It should not be normal.

I have seen this not just outside, but even within close circles—families, siblings, spouses, relatives, friends. Anywhere. Even between just two people.

Some people carry this tendency—to take what is not theirs.

Not just emotional taking—I’m talking about financial.

And the most disturbing part?

They don’t feel bad.
They don’t feel regret.
Sometimes, they even feel entitled.

How?

How does someone feel they have a right over someone else’s money, belongings, or life?

I really don’t understand.

We all know this simple truth:
What you sow is what you reap.

If you want something, work for it. Earn it. Build it.

Yes—money is important.
Money gives comfort, stability, security.
Money can even bring happiness in many ways.

I’m not denying that.

But needing money does not give anyone the right to take it from others.

Greed is one thing.
But greed that turns into looting others—again and again, over years—and still believing it is your right?

That is something else.

And the most painful part is when this happens between people who are supposed to trust each other.

Between partners.
Between family members.
Between people who share a bond.

It feels like this is not just behavior… but a pattern.
A trait that exists in certain people, in certain spaces.

And it has nothing to do with gender.

Earlier, I used to think there are only two kinds of people: humane and inhumane.

But now I wonder…
are there also looters and non-looters?

Is that a category?

Because honestly… it feels like it.

Why do people loot?
Why do they feel entitled to what is not theirs?

Nobody is superior. Nobody is inferior.
We are all just human beings trying to live.

I don’t even know if this exists in other living beings.
But in humans… I see it.

And my question is simple:

Who will teach them that this is not right?

Who will make them realize that this is not normal?

That this is not something to be proud of?

That this is not something to continue?

Because to me… it feels like they are in darkness.

And someone needs to open their eyes.
